High-Tem Black Powder Coating: (No Additional Cost)
This powder coating type is designed for optimum performance in harsh environments specific to motorcycle exhaust and other high temperature applications in outdoor environment. It has superior heat and corrosion resistance and has been tested to automotive specifications and meets or exceeds standards of performance for exhaust and muffler coatings. Heat resistance in excess of 1100 degrees and continuous testing for 48 hours at 800 degrees show this coating to hold its color, gloss and physical integrity at this service temperature. It should be noted this motorcycle exhaust should not exceed 500 degrees. This coating exceeds specifications for salt spray resistance testing. No blistering or rusting from scribe after 120 hours continuous testing.
